Which is easier: 1 or 2-ball DTR

I'm ready for Valinor. I really am. And I don't want to do it with
the glass off, but I'm close to resorting to such lame-ass behavior.
I'm now regularly close. But I can't destroy the ring. Without the
magnet activated, nothing seems to go through (on 1-ball). On 2-ball,
the second ball knocks the first out as often as through. What am I
missing here?

My opinion is that one ball is the preferable choice. Two ball has too
many things that can go wrong (first ball doesn't stick, gets knocked
out, times out, two balls get trapped, etc.). One ball has the
disadvantage of not having the magnet, but at least it is consistent.
Alignment is critical on the ring ramp. I've adjusted mine twice, and
need to tweak it again (after my dismal failure the other night missing
by the last shot). Properly aligned, I'd estimate that a decent hard
and relatively centered ring shot has about a 50% chance of going
through. Off just a little and that can diminish wickedly.
