I have two sticks of 256mb Crucial pc2100 and 1 stick of 512mb pc2700 Corsair. will it be faster to have it in dual channel even though its only pc2100? I recently bought a shuttle SN45G with a FN45 nforce2 ultra 400. thanx for advice.

MSI KT3 Ultra

Sorry if this seems like a lame answer... but...

You would be best off trying it both ways on that nF2 Shuttle board. My best guess would be that the single channel DDR333 would be better than the dual DDR266. Oly testing out both variations will tell you for sure.

Live near Toronto and like to game but you can't make it to Quakecon?

I dunno...

I would say dual channel 266...cause you will be runnning synchro to your bus...less added latency....all in all the performance diffrence will be minimal at best

So easy to fry yet tastes so good...

yea i think so 2, dual ddr 2100 would be faster than single channel pc2700. by all means, you should do a benchmark and test each configuration
