So, I've settled on buying the GTX 1060 3gb version (I know there might be better options but that's what I'm getting) but, I'm not sure about which option to go for. I'd prefer a dual fan card, as I want my temps to be as low as possible. I have a mini tower case (micro ATX) and I know it can fit every single 1060 3gb out there. Also I don't have a really high budget, so the lower the price the better. As for efficiency and reliability, I'm not really sure which manufacturer is the best.So if someone could give me some advice on that topic, I would be greatful! Thanks!

When it comes to the 10 series cards it doesn't really matter anymore as they all pretty much perform the same. The ones with custom PCB and cooling systems can help you to achieve a better overclock on top of GPU boost 3.0

In which case MSI, EVGA, ASUS and Gigabyte are the good choices. PNY, Zotac and others are great but not as great.
The Asus Dual is nice

as well as the MSI Armor

Hadn't the reviews on Tom's shown that the 1050Ti 4GB sometimes outdoes the 1060 3Gb because that lesser amount of memory is a little bit of a handicap? I can't remember which card was the focus of the test/review, but there was specifically mention that the 1050Ti might be better than the 1060 because of the 3GB limit. (haven't found it yet doing a hasty search)

In the case that whatever game you are playing wants more than 3GB of memory to run. otherwise if you can adjust your settings for 1080p to not go over 3GB of vRAM then the 1060 will crush the FPS compared to the 1050TI. Which is why obviously everyone says it's better to just bite the bullet and pay the bit extra for the 6GB version.
