Processor : Core2Duo E6300 1.86 GHZ
Ram : 4 GB
Graphic Card : Nvidia 730 Gt
Motherboard : 946 GZ/PL/GL (Don't know which one)
LGA 775 Socket

I bought a Core 2 Duo E6700 2.4GHZ processor (Which will be delivered in a week or so) as I did some R&D online and found out that was the best one that'll be compatible.

I wanna know if it's true and if not, suggest me the best processor I can get.
I really don't care if I have to buy 5 more of these old processors as they are so cheap! (at least in my country)

Solution
Although it is not specifically listed, Core 2 Quad Q6600 should work with latest BIOS. This mobo supports 65nm CPUs and up to 1066MHZ FSB, and Q6600 is just that - 1066 FSB and 65nm.

They are quite cheap, and would provide a huge boost in performance, depending on your use.
