Which is better IDE or EIDE? And what is the difference between both of them?

EIDE is better, it actually stands for Enhanced IDE. However, anything that you get nowadays is EIDE. They stopped making "regular" IDE back with the 486's if I remember correctly. I think my first Pentium 100 had EIDE.

The terms probably get confused now, I don't think anyone actually refers to EIDE as EIDE anymore, they just call it IDE.
