Which memory stick and motherboard should I buy?

Hi, I need help picking a suitable motherboard for my gaming rig.

So far, the specs look like this:

CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual-Core Processor
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 6870 1GB Video Card
Power Supply: Rosewill 700W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Case: Xion XON-570 ATX Mid Tower Case

I have found these two items below, however, I am not too sure whether they are the best bang for the buck or even the most suitable for this rig. Keep in mind that it must be able to support dual graphic card (Crossfire).

Also, could someone make sure that all the parts fit in the case?

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Those parts should work fine. Only question is if the video card is too long or covers an adjoining slot. Those you can figure out on your own be checking the case specs. You can usually find them in the manual and download it off the website.

Are you questioning whether the graphic card would fit or not, or is it a reminder? Because the website I used to find the parts said it would be compatible. However, if it does not fit, how could I check?

would purchasing an additional 6870 allow me to run bf3 on max settings? or would i need to upgrade my cpu/mobo? if so, what would you recommend, i5+asus p67?
