Which monitor is a better value here?

I've decided to get a new monitor, and wanted to get a 1440p one. (my GPU is a GTX 770 with 4GB, most games I play run at 100+fps easily) The one I was thinking about getting was.

however I've seen people recommend getting this one to overclock it

My questions are:
Is the first one overclockable? and if so how much.
Obviously which one of these two would be a better value if I run games at high enough fps to utilize the refresh rate of overlocking to 120Hz.

Lastly, I've been looking around forums and have seen quite a few people recommend getting this 144Hz 24" monitor from ASUS:

This one isn't a korean brand and is at a factory refresh rate of 144Hz and supports G-Sync. The only issues I have with it are that it's a 24" in 1080p, (I currently have a 21.5" in 1080p and wanted to go to 1440p.) and that my family purchased a 3D TV a couple of months ago (which I believe is supposed to look similar to a high refresh rate monitor) and things do look kind of strange as I've been using a 60Hz monitor all my life, although I guess I would probably get used to it.

Main games I play:
DotA 2 (constant 120fps+) I've heard 1440p shines in games like this where you can see more
Skyrim with HD mods (60fps) I'm aware my fps will go down in 1440p and won't utilize 60Hz<
Wildstar (when it comes out) 80-100+fps
Battlefield 4 (95+fps)

On more thing: I planned on keeping my 21.5" 1080p monitor and using 2 monitors; are you able to run 2 monitors that are different resolution? I planned on having games on the new one and music/internet browser on the old one.
