Hi all,

I've just upgraded to a new system and want to upgrade monitor(s) in time and was wondering what the best options would be, and what to look for with my specific needs.

I'm looking for
-1440p
- 144Hz and above
- Good colour range
- Around 24-28in screen
- Beneficial for both graphic design & gaming

I do graphic design as a main job, with gaming on the side each night so a mix of the two would be great.

What would be recommendations for monitors as a main monitor, and what should I be looking for, e.g IPS, curved display, high/low refresh rate, response time, etc.

The overall budget for a single monitor would vary but I wouldn't want to be paying more than £300 for one.

Many thanks,
Lewis

IPS panel is more suitable for games and applications as it has sharper details. Frequency and resolution could be wasted if your HW, specially GPU can't handle it properly.
24-28" screens. curved in those sizes are beneficial only when screen is close, from any distance picture may look distorted on relatively small monitors. For any graphic work I wouldn't recommend it. I would also give priority to resolution and size over frequency which has no benefit in graphic design and for gaming just in very fast games.
As for make and model, you should first resolve those doubts but flat, non-curved are more plentiful and cheaper.
