which monitor should i buy for gaming?

Hi there,


I've been recently looking into buy a monitor for my desktop

i have a Gigabyte R9 290 WF3 graphics card, so i'm puzzled as to which monitor I should buy to suit it

Currently i've been looking at the BenQ range, more specifically the RL2455HM and RL2460HT
however i have been told that 60hz monitor wouldnt do much justice for my graphics card

looking for a good monitor that can handle heavy gaming (fps,openworld, etc)
budget would be preferably under $300
