Which monitor should I get ?

I want 1440p, 144-160 with G-sync monitor for my new gaming rig i7 8700k, GTX 1080Ti
I'm choosing between ASUS PG279Q (IPS) or PG27VQ (TN)

Are TN monitors really that bad ? Is it true, that it will impossible to watch a movie on TN monitor in bed ?

The main benefit of an IPS panel is colour accuracy, which is essential for digital photography but rather negligible elsewhere. Images will look brighter and colours will be punchier with IPS, so the perceived quality may be higher.

If both monitors are the same price then I'd go with IPS, otherwise TN will do just fine. The PG27VQ has a curved screen if that matters to you.
