Hello, I’d like to upgrade my PC, here are components for the new PC:

CPU: i7-6800K
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 32GB Kit DDR4-3000 (4x8GB, quad channel) – possibly 2x (64 GB)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 580 (from my old PC)
SSD: Samsung SM961 Polaris 1TB
Case: Fractal R3 (from my old PC)
Power supply: Corsair TX650 (from my old PC)
OS: Win 8.1

I’ll use it for work – I run multiple guest operating systems in Virtualbox and many applications (that’s why I need so much RAM). I won’t use it for gaming (maybe 4 times a year). I’d like to overclock it a bit, but I need the system to be 100% stable.

Which motherboard and CPU cooler would you recommend?

Any other advice is welcome, I’ve ordered only the SSD so far.

Thanks

I wouldn't get a Hyper 212X. It's a decent cooler but it's outdated and there's far better ones that have come along since then. So here's some suggestions for air cooling:

- Noctua NH-U14S: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608041
- Phanteks TC-14PE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011
- Cryorig R1: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF1H68938

And then for motherboard here's a few suggestions:

- MSI X99A Gaming Carbon: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130934
- Asrock X99 Extreme 6: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157599
- Asrock X99 OC Formula: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157596

Air cooling.

Don't really have a set price limit, but of course don't wanna overpay :)

Some recommendations I got so far from other forums:
MB: ASUS x99-A II or GIGABYTE GA-X99P-SLI Intel X99
Cooler: Scythe Ninja Scnj-4000 4 / Scythe SCFM 1000 Fuma / Cooler Master Hyper 212X

The Noctua NH-U14S looks good, is it compatible with i7-6800K (Socket LGA2011-3)?

Will the fan fit if I'll have 8 of these ram modules on my motherboard? http://www.ebuyer.com/751192-crucial-ballistix-tactical-32gb-kit-ddr4-3000-desktop-memory-blt4c8g4d30aeta-blt4c8g4d30aeta

The ASUS X99-A II has quite a lof of bad reviews on the newegg site, are there really so many problems with it?

Thanks..
