Hi all,
I've come to get your expertise on a suggestion for a motherboard which will allow me to overclock an i5 4670k to it's max potential.
I'll be using the rig for gaming and doing designs on cad/solidworks. I need a board that's super reliable, my previous board was a asus p6t deluxe which had huge issues with ram slots no longer working.
So any suggestions for a board that will allow a max overclock for the cpu which i'll be putting on water, and can handle dual gpu's (although I think most boards can without an issue).
I don't need inbuilt wifi, a great inbuilt sound card is a bonus but not a deal breaker.
From what I've read 1600mhz ram is as good as 2400mhz ram for real world use outside of video editing(which I don't do), as a result I've chosen to go with 16gb Gskill NT ram, please also comment on the ram if getting that is a mistake.
Also, will going 32gb of ram be of any use? and if i get 32gb of ram will it stop me from overclocking to say 4.5ghz?
I'd also like a board with 6gb/s ports for ssd's.
Thanks in advance for any help.
