ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus is considered as the best motherboard for Ryzen 7 3700x as described by PCFIED but is it actually true? According to electronics hub, it is the best mobo as well but finaldesktop opposes it. Moreover, does it (ASUS AM4 TUF board) has a special LED to show the debug errors. Please kindly share?

All I can share is that I used the B450 Mortar with a 3700X for almost two years and a 1700 for about a year prior to that, and it was terrific. It definitely has LED's that light at the point it fails POST but I never had to use it. Sometimes all that really makes some things 'best' is the one that gleams more brightly in the eye of the beholder. I would consider any x570 a waste of money if it's not the same price or cheaper than the B450 Mortar.

I wouldn't consider B450, with B550 now out. Better I/O, and PCI-E gen 3, on the chipset, with gen 4 on the primary GPU, and M.2 slots.

I think the best motherboard is the one that is the form factor and has all the connectors you wish to have at a cost you are comfortable with. Additional consideration should be given to the VRM for future upgrades, if any. In your own case a 3700X motherboard should already have good power delivery as a main consideration. Aside from those aspects the look of the motherboard, color scheme, and such in light to your vision of the completed build.

IMO it's best to pick a couple of boards that you like and then go read reviews on the plus and minus of them specific to your desire for them. There are everything from really poor designs up to stuff that is fully capable of running anything on the market, and well on into levels of overkill that mean absolutely zero to actual ability to run the CPU and peripherals correctly. Some boards are nothing more than bragging rights.

I'd definitely go B550 too even though the gen 3 and gen 4 lanes don't really do that much. Mainly, I'm just drawing the comparison to illustrate how almost pointless X570 is.

And before anyone steps in...it's ALMOST pointless as if in need of it's extra Gen4 PCIe lanes it's worth it. But how many really are.

Well, you do have a point.

Yea the only reason I have an x570, is I bought it within like 2 weeks of launch. I recently upgraded my 3700x, to a 5800x, and paired the 3700x with a B550 board. Gotta love those microcenter bundle deals. I was after a second build, so it was the easiest route, for me to take.
