What mother board pin is positive and which is negative? For the other ones it is + on left and - on right. The motherboard manual does not say which one is + and which is -. Which do I plug the positive into and which one do I plug the negative into?

The basic color code for that wiring is white and a color: white negative, black and a color: black negative. If it is not marked on the header pins, it doesn't matter. For FP header wiring, the only devices that are polarity sensitive are LEDs and the little speaker. Did you have a different particular connection in mind?

Ok, I am talking about an LED. You said it does matter where I plug it in. So there are two pins on the motherboard and two pins on the wires. Which motherboard pin is +?

ECS has tended to assign Pin 2 as + and Pin 4 as - like the majority of motherboard manufacturers.

Look on pg. 25 of the MB manual. The FP diagram has an obvious mis-print. The PLED wires should be neg on the corner pin, pos on the next pin. If the LED doesn't light, then simply reverse that. You won't do any damage if they are reversed; a diode wired in reverse simply will not light.
