Hello there, I need help finding a great motherboard for under $150. Im trying to go with a blue/black color scheme. Im stuck between either Asus or Gigabyte motherboards. I need to help finding i really good one. Which one do you guys recommend?
You could grab an Asus P8Q77-M/CSM, this would fit in your budget, stay with the blue black colour scheme. It only has once PCIe 3.0 slot though, so if you want SLI or Xfire this won't work, but other than that it is a good board.

Hmm sounds interesting.. Sorry to ask this but im somewhat new to this stuff and i wanted to ask whats SLI or Xfire and how would that benefit me?
Sli and crossfire are the ability to use multiple graphics cards all at once.
Damn thats hard.. i might consider that if my EVGA GeForce GTX 760 needs abit more. But i might be adding a sound card. would that affect anything on it?

adding a sound card would do nothing but improve sound. To sli or crossfire is to have two gpus run at the same time, such as two 760's. sound cards have nothing to do with sli or crossfire.

Oh okay I get it now. Sooo the Asus P8Z77-V would serve me better?
The main difference between the boards we posted is mine was a mini ATX and Alec's is a full ATX, so depending on what case you are putting it in. Alec's has two 3.0 slots which would allow you to SLI if you wanted, although you would need a good PSU for that. Also you do not really need another sound card as it is already on the mobo, unless you are an audiophile.

Well its between the 500R Corsair or the Cooler Master 690 iii, they're both the same price but im somewhat leaning towards the CM 693 cause it has an included watercooler, but I might buy a Corsair H100.
