Hi guys, definitely need your help.

I'm building a big one this time (TL;DR 2080 super and i7 9700k) BUT i'm not an expert, far from that honestly. Problem is: i don't know how to chose my cm !
I'm planning to use a water cooling (an AIO one) H150i from corsair, which has 3 fans and a Thermaltake 71 TG case which comes with 2 fans, that makes at the very least 5 fans.

And i've no clue how to chose the motherboard so i can plug in all the fans, the gpu, the pump and all that stuff.... If you could help me out with that i'ld very much appreciate you guys's help !

Most motherboards will have enough fan slots and a dedicated pump slot
You will want a motherboard you can overclock on which i think for 9th gen is z390 i may be wrong not gonna lie i prefer amd (cuz they auto oc for you) and i havent kept uo with intel boards

Hi !
Thanks for your answer, i really appreciate your help !
fortunately, the h150i is very covenient, the pump need a sata and cpu_fan connection and you just plug the fans directly to the pump itself (which comes handy for newbs like myself), found that out while watching tons of guides :')...

Just leaving this here for peoples having the same kind of questions !

Since you are using an I7 9700k, that narrows it down to decent quality Z390 motherboards.

If you have a fair budget, I would pick the below.

for z390 gigabyte offers the best in pretty much every price point and i wouldve gotten one from gigabyte my self if one was available where i live good features, good quality and good vrms.

but for 9700k you can probably chose a decent mobo and pick one with other features you fancy (built in wifi or 10gig ethernet).

most z390 reviews are tailored towards the use of 9900k so if it works wonders there you sure bet it will be more than enough for the 9700k.

Well, since i'am already spending a shitload of money into this build i decided to go for a 9900k (cuz why not at this point) for the same reasons that you mentionned so yeah, think i'll go for the Z390-F since it looks like it'ld fit my needs ? I'am not even sure why tbh...

Thanks for your guidance anyways ! :)
