With my new computer, I am getting Radeon 9600XT, Kingmax ram, 120g seagate, MX Duo etc...
I am thinking of good m/bs that support 2.8g HT & o/c to 3g+

Abit AI7 $134
Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 Pro2 $134
Asus P4P800 dlx $141
Asus P4C800 dlx $194
Abit IC7MAX3 $224
Gigabyte GA8KNXP $228

but I need more opinions to make up my mind. I am leaning towards the P4P800 dlx but I dont know if all components are compatible.

Thank you for your time

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

AI7 seems to be a bit more problematic than the IS7, have you considered that board instead?

I've been using an IS7-G for months with zero problems thus far. Definitely would recommend it.

Abit IC7-G, Abit IS7, P4P800dlx now
Just thinking bout the prices now

Do you run onboard sound? Did you try to play .mp3 files if you do and do some HD copy/move/read stuff? Try, then we'll talk.

But on the other hand you might have a "corrected" board already, they might of fixed it, even I doubt it, caz I had it only 3 months ago.

I dont use onboard sound, but I have heard that is a problem. Using onboard sound wouldnt be doing justice to my speakers.
I aint noticed any probs with the board, and it overclocks well.
