Which one would you choose?

MSI G321Q which is 1440p ips 170hz 1ms 32" quantum dot with G-sync

Or

Xiaomi G34WQi which is 1440p VA 180hz 1ms 34" curved with premium FreeSync
They both have similar price here.

Xiaomi has better pixel density, it's ultrawide and it's curved, but it's VA and doesn't have G-sync.

MSI is IPS with G-sync and has a quantum dot panel, but less pixel density and it's not ultrawide.

I've considered 27" version of MSI but since I've played on a 32" ips 60hz TV for the last 8 years I feel like 27" is just too small for me.
Honestly I can't decide.

First of all 34" Ultrawide is the same height as a 27" 16:9.

If you're gaming predominantly I highly doubt the pixel density difference will matter at all. Looks like the MSI is just G-sync compatible which means it's Freesync but has been tested. Chances are both screens will. work similarly for variable refresh rate.

Personally I have a cheap VA ultrawide because I wanted an ultrawide and at the time the better ones were all well over $1000. As long as you have something you can color match with they work fine. Comparing my IPS display to my curved VA I'd say the things I notice most is colors are better on IPS and blacks are better on VA.
