Which of these two SSDs is faster?

Solution

For a game system, you will not notice the difference between an NVMe drive (the Toshiba) and a SATA III drive (the WD).
you want to plug the NVMe into a Gen3x4 port that supports it. usually now, they support PCIe NVMe drives as well as SATA3 but SATA3 cannot deliver the performance of the NVMe drive. what laptop model and make so we can check what type you can use? you may only be able to use SATA3 M.2 drives, if you can use them at all.

i'm already sure both are compatible as one is already installed in my laptop, but the model is the XPS 15 9560. do you think the slower 1TB SSD is worth it for the extra space? i install quite a few games
