Out of these two cards which one would you guys recommend? This is going to be a card I'll have for 2-4 years. So future proofing is required, 1440p/2160k etc and etc.

Great, I can have it for $345 shipped next day be here by Saturday, now I noticed with Newegg you cannot return this card for a refund only to exchange for the same card.. Do you forsee any issues with this card? I'm told they run HOTT and high wattage, and require 42amps per 12v rail.. My PSU is only 30amps per 12v rail.

Thats a great one, the MSI lightning versions are amazing and will perform amazingly

I picked up a Evga GTX 970 SSC earlier, on my 2nd one so far =\... Trying to find a good one with this terrible coil whine.. 2nd one is just as worse as the first one.. Thinking of switching brands.

Every 970's have coil whine the way to make the coil whine kind of go away is by turning on vsync while playing.

Yeah and no gamer want's to turn on vsync, I heard the Gigabyte G1 970's with the 1.1v don't have coil whine, apparently the 1.1v addressed the coil whine issue.

i see but honestly i wouldn't be suprised if they dont fix it, i myself dont use nvidia GPU'S anymore due to AMD having cards better for the same price

I just ordered a Gigabyte G1 GTX 970, It'll be here tomorrow we shall see if this whole " 1.1v fixed it "... I've had a gigabyte g1 970 in my system before and no coil whine, my two friends with the gigabyte 970's no coil whine.. So fingers are crossed.
