Which operating system is right for my rig?

I have an:
MSI GTX 960
i3 4160
8GB RAM
thats all you really need to know, soon ordering an ssd, anyway..

Gaming is all i do, h1z1 cs go ect, now i have heard mixed things on windows 10 for gaming, on youtube there are videos as of where there are 10 fps + boosts, should i Upgrade from my windows 8.1 to 10 or not? please help me! thanks

When the games start supporting DX12 you will definitely need Window 10.

In the near term Ark: Survival Evolved is supposed have DX12 ready in the next couple weeks. While it is still an early access it is looking like an awesome game.

Fable Legends is also well on it way and should come out this fall.

Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3 are promising to update their game engine to DX12 soon too.

go to the website of your motherboard's manufacturer. make sure there are drivers for windows 10 available.
