Hi. Im building my first PC. I bought Palit RTX 3070 Jetstream OC. I am going to pair it with a Ryzen 5 5600x. Some people say 650W power supply is good but some other people suggest that I go for a 750w instead. I almost ordered a Gigabyte PSU but I read some terrible reviews about them. I am looking for your advice. Are corsair rm’s good? Or should I go little bit more expensive like Be Quiet Straight Power?

Solution
Corsair TXM, RM, RMX are all good. Seasonic Focus Golds, Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro is another seasonic built one that is good. I would go with 750w, personally. The pricing generally isn't all that far apart, between 650w and 750w.

I also think I should go for 750W because Palit 3070 jetstream oc consumes more power than the 3070 FE

I like EVGA P2/T2 or Corsair HXI/RMX. I used to say always get 750. Now I say 850 and if you can afford it 1k is good for future upgrades.

I went with a 1k 5 years ago and still going strong. I might get 3 builds out of this one power supply.

I think I will go with the 750W, I do not plan to upgrade my build for a long time
