Which PSU for this build? HELP!

This will be my build very soon but I need help with what PSU to get. I plan on overclocking and add a lot more to this build such as liquid coolers, more memory, SSD's, case fans and also SLI.

How much can you spend? A xfx ts 550 80plus bronze or gold is far better than the corsair cx series it uses some pretty bad caps and overall build quality is seriously lacking.

get a 550-600w psu. 80+ rating. bronze rating or higher, maybe modular (only helps clean up the cables)

If you plan to sli later you should be looking at 750w. The EVGA B2 750w is usually a great price and its a great unit built by superflower

As plywrlw said, 750w minimum as you want sli later. Personally I would go 850w as its not good to work a PSU hard and a PSU that's not working as hard runs cooler and quieter

Thanks all for your help!

I've decided to go with this PSU, it's 80+ gold, fully modular and its a reliable brand. PC part picker estimate wattage tells me that 650 is enough for GTX 970 SLI.

I wouldn't advise that one. It's one of EVGA's not that great PSU's. Also, I think 650W is cutting it too close for SLI 970's as the PSU will be working hard all the time which impacts badly on the lifespan and efficiency.

If you want a gold rated unit, go for the EVGA Supernova G2 750W but the bronze-rated EVGA B2 750W will be plenty for what you need.
