Hey guys.
I m thinking to buy a new psu for my pc & little future upgrades. I m from India.
SO which psu is better
1. Seasonic G series 650w psu @ Rs 8600
2. Seasonic X Series 650w psu @ Rs 7800
3. Seasonic M12II 650w psu @ Rs 6400

I read many reviews but when i saw comparison on seasonic website then little confused.

What is the main job of -12V rail.?
& which is better lower Ampere or higher...?

X series -12V rail passes 0.5A & G series -12V rail passes 0.3A.

What is this tight voltage regulation.?
& which is better higher or lower..?

X series have +- 1% & G series have +- 3%.

So guys which is better choice for next gen broadwell..?
If no one then can i go with cheaper one & save some cash....?
Thanks in advance

Yeah that board is a bit costly but has all the premium features and much more stable if you plan decide to overclock in the future. I opted this board as you mentioned your budget to be 40k. you can chose any 990FX chipset based board from either MSI, Gigabyte or Asus.

Warranty service may be faulty from place to place but ASUS is still the world leader in motherboard making. Their high end boards very rarely become faulty.

You can choose FX6300. Its a very good CPU for its price and meant for budget...
6300 will be fine for gaming and 6 threads are good for multithreading applications as well. Of course the fx-8320 will be better for multithreading but I think it has similar gaming performance. As for performance per price the fx-6300 is certainly the winner.

You can choose FX6300. Its a very good CPU for its price and meant for budget oriented people. It may be enough for today's need but will run out of power more quickly than a 8 core CPU.

performance wise hierarchy of cpu is:
FX8350 > FX8320 > 4670k > 4570 > FX6350 > 4440 > FX6300
So you can see that the 6300 is way below 8320 and even 4440. So, choose your CPU wisely.

I need to know the resolution at which you'll be playing games to squeeze a GPU within your 40k budget.

The MSI board will let you over clock just fine and it is cheaper. Unless you are doing SLI or crossfire the ASUS board is an overkill. And 4670k is lower in the heirarchy than FX8320 and FX8350? pffft
Maybe you should check this. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-5.html
as you can see The two i5 processors he has mentioned as inferior to the fx 8350 and fx 8320 are in the top tier on the chart while both fx 8320 and 8350 are in a lower tier not only that but fx 6350 also shares the same tier with them and I think the only reason why the fx-8320 is on higher tier than the fx 6300 is the multithreading performance since both fx 6300 and fx 8320 deliver the same gaming performance and it is the best bang for the money for a gaming pc of the two.

That chart reflects only gaming performance of the CPUs, not the overall performance. Intel CPUs has less but more powerful cores. So, they have an extra edge in gaming as gaming hardly requires more than 4 cores. But in overall performance the hierarchy is quite different.
Take a look at this chart and you'll understand:

He particularly specified that he will be mainly gaming on the PC but maybe I misunderstood. Also the fx 8320 is 38$ more expensive in India than the fx 6300. But anyway it is his choice.

yup that's right but he also mentioned that he will be doing some photoshop and CAD works. So, I quoted the overall performance ranking.

fx8320 will be better running these programs but fx6300 won't be bad neither. Like I said it is his choice to make.
