I'm in the process of building an unraid server, and have finalized most of the parts, except the PSU.
PCPartPicker shows an estimated wattage of ~ 380W. So I'm guessing a 500W PSU would be good for my needs and the future?
I currently have a Seasonic FOCUS PX-550, 550W 80+ Platinum Full-Modular PSU. My server will be on 24/7. Will 550W be enough? Will it be a bottleneck as I add more drives?
Or should I get a 750W PSU? The price difference is not that big. I've also read that going overkill on a PSU is bad because the efficiency drops at low loads. I don't have much experience here, so would appreciate any help
