I have a core i7 2600 with a rx 580 and 32 gb ram.
I just upgraded the VC from a rx 560 and my old PSU got toasted. I think it was malfunctioning, the fan was loud and sometime struggled to work. So should I get another 700w one? Or a 500w certified? What does that mean by the way?
I dont remember the mb name I think ph687 or something.
After the upgrade it worked fine for 1 hour and then it rebooted then it worked for some hours again and then it turned off again but didnt turn on again.
I'm almost sure is the psu.
Also it smell a little bit like burn when it was on. So i guess the psu fan problem got worse or something.
Also it was in 115v should I have set it to higher 225v? When do I have to use each?

So this PSU has a voltage switch. What's the brand and model of the PSU?

115v is for ~115v mains like in the US. 225v is for ~225v mains for use in, for example, Europe. Don't use the 115v setting on 225v mains. The PSU would explode.

Azteck Integra Fuente de Poder z600 ES-05003.

It is 600w. I forgot i replaced the 700w long ago for this one.
