which pump is better? (water cooling)

hi, i want to build a custom loop in my pc, i have this cpu block: swiftech apogee xl , and i have 1 gpu for now (i will add another one in the future), im debating on whether to buy a 850 l/h ddc pump or 1200 l/h d5 pump, which will be better for me and deliver better performance?

It really depends here, the DDC is purported to be better for restricted loops while the D5 will pump more fluid . Here are two articles which may help your decision

90% of the time i run a Swiftech MCP35X pump for my builds. My last build ran a MCP35X with the following setup. 2x 360 RX, 1x 480RX mm rads cpu block and 2x 580 blocks in a single loop and had no water issues. All parts were XSPC except the pump.


I have 1 computer that runs a D5 pump with a Danger den extreme 480mm radiator, EK cpu block and 2 560 ti blocks.

Ether of the Swiftech MCP35X or MCP655 pumps are good have not had issues with ether one of them.
