It should be DDR2-4200, and HP says a maximum of 2GB total (1GB per stick) is what is *offically* supported, however i've seen a lot of systems like that run with 2x2GB sticks. The only hang-up would be with a 32-bit OS, you're only going to be able to use ~3.25 - 3.5GB of it.
