Guys i've got extra money laying around and felt like i needed to buy something for my gaming notebook. The two memory sticks i'm looking at right now are
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1866 HyperX Plug n Play Laptop Memory Model KHX1866C11S3P1K2/8G http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104259
and
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1866 Laptop Memory Model CMSX8GX3M2A1866C10 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233243
but not really sure which one to buy. I was leaning towards the kingston because of the heat spreaders but i heard that design was discontinued and that the corsair set had lower latencies
My system specs are
Alienware M14X R2
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
3rd Generation Intel Core i7-3720QM @ 3.6GHz
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
2 GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForceGT 650M
Soundblaster Recon3di & Internal High-Definition 5.1 Surround Sound Audio
256 GB Crucial M4 SSD
Which one should i purchase & how much hotter will my laptop run with 1866 mhz sticks?
And what memory test program should I use to bench/test compatibility
