[SOLVED] Which Ram should I go with

I already have a 2x4GB Ram: G.Skill Ares DDR3 1866: so is there a possibility of putting 2x8gb that i would buy with 2x4gb that i already own?

1)Does your motherboard support those kits?

2)To answer your question: They can be put together, but no one can guarantee whether the 2 kits will get along with each other nicely. If you choose to combine them, it's recommended you run different memory tests:
Memtest86, Prime95 Blend Mode, and AIDA64 Memory test, are a few.

The 8GB sticks would go into A2 and B2, while the 4GB sticks should be placed into A1 and B1.

Again, whether they'll get along, only time will tell, but you should definitely run tests to be sure.
