Well, being only known as "verndewd" it's difficult to know much else other than what info you offer. So, with that said, now I know...

So, as a fellow Gen X'er, I'd hope that you feel the same. Unlike popular belief, our generation is/was not better off than the generation before it.

But to put it into perspective, just as the boomers rebelled against the "establishment" and through the rule of law "corrected" their mistakes, I'm quite sure that my (our?) children will rebel against me (us). However, I hope that I have passed along a greater sense of personal responsibility, sense of community, and a healthy dose of common sense so they do not feel the need to legislate behavior and save people from their own stupidity. Much like some Asian cultures and Eastern philosophy, I believe we should punish ignorance and reward critical thinking.

heres the story of the boomers
in 1871 a second DC organic act was passed that created a corporate body for gov
the civil war had put america in debt and the 7 families in banking came to call that owned most of the loans
states started creating corporate charters after the federal reserve act was established and by 1970 every state could use the foreign currency since it was the corporate method of monetization.

After The great depression the new deal created massive loaning which created more families able to have kids and raise them this came after ww2 when the loans were beginning to be made available in great quantity and america was booming in manufacturing.

The baby boomers werent a social experiment , they were a product of an american manufacturing boom. The real benefactors and winners were the globalist bankers who designed 2 wars to lessen the impact of the american manufacturing boom. Just like any trend researcher the globalists could forsee americas boom economy , made a lasso for it and then ensnared it.

Hitler brought germany out of the depression with loans from the same bankers , prescott bush was brought up on charges for loaning hitler money and IBM supplied the technology that kept records of camp prisoners.

kinda side stepping here , but loan enslavement pretty much created the baby boomers and the globalists took as much of that wealth back as possible by using edward bernays to create the worlds first consumer mentality nation.

Sounds like a wikipedia entry...no need to explain how Washington DC became known as the District of Columbia...

Yes, thanks to Woodrow Wilson and the Democrats, they passed the the Federal Reserve Act, as well as the 16th and 17th Amendments, which side-lined America as a Republic and helped created professional politicians and rule by surrogacy.

By definition, that's who the boomers are. However, while they as a generation were not a social experiment (and I never implied they were), the eventual laws (morality through legislation) they passed as they came to power years later were and are.

As much as I hate banks in general right now, given the tax dollars wasted on bail outs as well as continued bonuses being paid to bank execs; the banks/globalists/and loan enslavement are not to blame for the sad state of culture and society that was passed onto us. Let's face it, it's cheap and easy money that put the U.S. economy in the state it's in today, so there is nothing new there. The lack of personal responsibility, moral ambiguity, and the perverted role of government into our daily lives is the due to the boomers and their failed social experiments. If the boomers in their youthful zeal wanted to change America for the better, they failed.

yeah they are to blame and the documents are there to prove it.

The house of rothschilds were not only affiliated with Marx but Bernays as well and Hitlers mother was an employee of rothschilds. The common bonds that tie them all together are that they are all zionist jews affiliated with globalist banking interest.

Everything a person needs to validate this is on the web. The fed , the UN, pretty much all globalist institutions link to the rothschilds in some way. The world bank and IMF and fed are front organizations for their baning. Its a proveable fact. So maybe its not bankers per se but it is a very small group of money controllers that pull the strings.

also there was an organic act for dc in 1801, the 1871 version shouldnt even be allowed its purpose was to commence the creation of the totalitarian democratic corporatocracy that has as of 1970 replaced the republican form of government. And the switch was based soley on the fact that states couldnt la3wfully use federal reserve notes unless a binding contract with all states made the corporate monetary representation allowable.

If DR. Ron paul wasnt aware of this hed be a lunatic for saying abolish the fed. He seems like a lunatic for his attacking the establishment but thats because what he says is based on existing legal facts. If every american knew what he knows theyd say as much and more.

peace & love made a lot more sense than vietnam...and still does

My thoughts on Gods word?
If He wants His word to be accessable to man, then, no matter where it supposedly came from, itd be here for people to read and understand. If past societies failed, and their beliefs of Gods word also died in part, to me, its whats here now, and is still thought as Gods word that makes sense that it is Gods word.
So, being "copied" is nothing more than a continuation of His word, and the wrong words are long dead, as Im sure, these other cultures that are long since dead also contained things that arent accepted as Gods word today

I would like to believe there is a god. But I couldn't put no faith into any church. As there is to much hippocracy in all religions. And to even try to comprehand god would be like an ant trying to understand humans.

The only thing I truely believe in is myself.

Have you not heard of that madman who lit a lantern in the bright morning hours, ran to the market-place, and cried incessantly: "I am looking for God! I am looking for God!"

As many of those who did not believe in God were standing together there, he excited considerable laughter. Have you lost him, then? said one. Did he lose his way like a child? said another. Or is he hiding? Is he afraid of us? Has he gone on a voyage? or emigrated? Thus they shouted and laughed. The madman sprang into their midst and pierced them with his glances.

"Where has God gone?" he cried. "I shall tell you...God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Nietzsche WAS a madman, so why should we turn to him for truth? Besides, no man can know the truth about God, so why ask anyone? We cannot see God, that does not mean He doesn't exist (or that He's dead). Nietzsche was a nutcase. End of story.

Nietzsche went mad because he followed his unbelief to it's logical conclusion - there are no morals and no meaning.

Exactly, so why turn to him for advice? He went mad, do you want to go mad? Besides, how does going mad make him right?

Just as people often condemn religion as a whole as a result of the actions of the Church, do not confuse Nietzsche the human being with the Philosophy. Given a specific context, all the Great Thinkers throughout history could all have been called nutcases.

Nietzche's story of the madman looking for God and pronouncing that God was dead and it was "we" who killed him was a condemnation of Man's corruption of the ideal, that Man in his arrogance presumes to know the Truth, that Man purports to be the Master of all that is and is not.

Well, apparently Man DOES know the truth as Man indeed created God and not the other way around. Men are also corrupt, thus making God corrupt. The Devil (so to speak) is no picnic either, the Devil is Man made and also corrupt but apparently on a larger scale, again, as he/she was created by people.

With all this nonsense within the church (molestations and cover ups and what not), i would really hate to see what the Devil's side is doing on their end... My point is, if the good guys are already bad, and the bad guys are worse, we're kinda limited here. I'd rather believe in the loved ones that surround my life.

If Other intelligent beings from another world came to our planet in peace, (yes, there is hope that other beings are not like humans) our God(s) may be their Devil, what gives us the right?

With so many religions, & deities, it just goes to show that SOMEONE has to be wrong because not all can be correct. I think it would be a possibility if ALL humans believed in the same God but that is simply not the case, so then it becomes a matter of ATI vs. Nvidia or AMD vs. Intel.

History shows us that EVERYONE so far, in regards to religion, in our minds, has been dead wrong. The ancient Mayans, WRONG! The ancient Egyptians, NOPE! The ancient Druids, COME AGAIN! Nope, they are all wrong and we are right, just like the generation before us and the one before that. To me, it seems like a huge lie that we tell ourselves & our children so we/they can sleep better at night, but here's the thing, as humans, the more we lie to ourselves & our loved ones, the more we believe that lie and become torn/twisted.

I could go on for days but i will leave it at that for now, see how many people i can make non-believers.

Ps. My cat doesn't worship anything, why should i? ...And if you answer "because we humans have the ability to think", i say bullsh%&, human thought is nothing more than an opinion in which to benefit that particular human. (AKA survival of the fittest) Human thought is a tool that we use to survive.

Sorry, Man did not create God. What Man has come to label and call God is the omnipresent and unknowable answer that is the mystery of the universe. Just because Man gave that mystery a label in an attempt to answer the unknowable does not automatically preclude that God did not exist.

The recent happenings within the Catholic Church are truly deplorable and the offenders should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. However, do not condemn the Church as a whole for the actions of a perverted few. The Catholic Church also does a lot of good within the community like Saint Vincent DePaul Society, food banks, prison ministry, Catholic Charities, and Knights of Columbus to name a few.

Well, given that you stated that Man created God, whatever aliens believe is a moot point. However, given that God created the universe (and please prove otherwise), it stands to reason that any aliens would worship some form of the same God we do; much like the Abrahamic religions believe in the same God.

Why does one religion have to be "wrong" and another religion "right"? It is the "it must be black or it must be white" mindset combined with Man's ego that has led good people down the wrong path to God. There is always more than one way to derive the answer to the same question; 2+2 and 3+1 both equal 4. Anyone who studies the religions on the world can recognize that there are more similarities than differences between them.

History does nothing else than record the events that have passed. I agree that it is Man that passes judgement on History to create a reality that fits with their world view. Calling it "one big lie" is nothing more than you interpreting and passing judgement to "help yourself sleep better". However, calling it a lie does not actually mean that it is a lie. Most likely, it is only in your mind that History has shown that everyone, in regard to religion, is dead wrong; millions of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and Muslims disagree with you.

If you believe that you are on the same level as your cat, then worship and believe as your cat does, just don't expect me to change your litter pan. If you believe that human thought is only to benefit that particular Human, then you deny every great thinker (Socrates, Plato, DeCartes, Einstein, Hawking to name a few) that existed and negate thousands of years of science, phylosophy, psychology, and religion; and essentially negate the whole of human society throughout history. Survival of the fittest is contrary to the human condition and at our most basic levels, it is inherent in Man to create community and help our fellow Man.

Until proof of an actual God or Gods, it is all theoretical. Same goes for anything else. If i were to say to you that i could turn into a cat at will, you would not believe me until i did so right in front of your very eyes. Just like the theory of time travel, it may be an idea or belief but until it is done it is non-exist.

I agree that the recent happenings are something that can be put on the individuals that are doing the terrible acts, i also agree that the church has done tremendous things for humanity, but there are some higher-ups within the church who are not taking discipline on those who have committed these foul acts. This cannot be acceptable, whoever the wrong-doers are, regardless, need to be put in jail or expunged.

This is something that i simply cannot fathom. That is like saying that if an alien landed on Earth, it would most definitely be able to breathe our air. This may be true, but what if it was a toxic gas to them, or worse, they exhaled a toxic gas to humans. There is always a chance that aliens could believe in our god, but there is also always a chance that us believing in a certain god may offend them all the same. No my friend, humanity's Gods are limited only to earth dwellers. There is always a possibility that life here on earth was indeed brought here by other beings or perhaps an asteroid...

So, you mean to tell me that the Ancient Greeks' Sun-God Appollo is similar to the father of Christ? Or that Paganism (some of which required human sacrifice) follows the same basic principals as Buddhism? The way i see it, Religion & Science are more similar than people think... Years ago, Everyone knew that the Earth was Flat, that changed. Years ago, everyone knew that Appollo was the mighty Sun-God, this has changed also. Imagine what we will think/know tomorrow.

I agree, everyone but Agnostics would disagree with me, that is what makes humans the way they are now. It is most definately not in my mind. Do you believe that the Ancient Greeks were correct in their belief that there were many Gods and that Apollo, the mighty Sun-God existed? If you answer no, then you have contradicted your own statement.

You should keep in mind that these great thinkers have changed the rules and beliefs of MANY others as well as shaping the world as it is has come to pass today. So what may have been true before their times are now preceived as false.

It is also inherent in Man to become greedy and deceive fellow man. There are two sides to every corner, as well as every stone. Balance is a way of life and death, be it for better or worse.

... And just to be clear on things, i really do not wish to try to stray people from their beliefs. I was merely joking. Rather, i just try to influence people around me with leaving a good impression on them so that they can remember...
