I was thinking about upgrading my graphics card (I have a gtx 1060 6gb right now). I was looking at the new rtx 2080. Witch rtx 2080 graphics card do you guys recommend?

Most of the time I am going to play Battlefield V...Hoping for 150+ fps on ultra settings...

What resolution?

Only if you really want that RTX, I would wait until manufacturers like MSI, EVGA, ASUS and such release their cards. It won't be a big difference, but they look better(that's my opinion) and they're slightly better.

But to be honest, I wouldn't buy any RTX anytime soon. The price you pay for the performance you get isn't good at all. Maybe consider the GTX 1080ti. The GTX 1080ti is even slightly better in some games than the RTX 2080, and costs way less. If you really want a newer GPU, wait for the RTX prices to drop or even until there is a complete new Nvidia GPU series.

and in games with VULKAN API the 1080ti is significantly worse. I am not interested in Ray Tracing but I really believe that in upcoming titles DLAA will have great performance boost. $200 price difference is not a big deal for me, so why would I go with the old tech? Also, I probably wait until the 2070 releases because I believe the MSI custom 2080s will drop by then slightly under $800.

Depends on what you see as "old tech" The gtx 1080's are far from old. But as I said, the prices right now, are too high for the performance increase you get compared to the 1080's. So That's why I think you should wait for the prices too drop.

Yeah, I am travelling for work most of the next 2 month anyway. Therefore, I might pick up the RTX2080 in November. By then the RTX1070 is released, which probably will bring the price of the 2080 down a bit, also availability should normalize until then.

Indeed, there are barely any cards available right now.
