Hi,

need an advice on choosing Rx 580. It will be used for video editing, machines are running 16 hours per day.

I'm currently looking Gigabyte RX 580 Aorus, 8GB GDDR5, 1380MHz/2000MHz, GV-RX580AORUS-8GD

Researching a bit I found that there is good amount of xfx users. At almost same price range I can get XFX RX580 GTS BLK ED 8GB GDDR5, 1257MHz/2025MHz, RX-580P8DBD6.

On the other side, SAPPHIRE RX580 8G D5 Nitro+, 8GB GDDR5, 256-bit, 1411/2000MHz, 11265-01-20G is much cheaper, like 50$ cheaper.

beside that there are
RX 590 fatboy
sapphire rx 580 dual puls
xfx rx 580 gts xxx
all cheaper than gigabyte

Last build was with ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 580 top but is currently unavailable.

thx

I have a Sapphire Rx 580 Nitro + and its pretty decent. Running a minor oc of 1450MHz and memory speed increased to 9ghz .The highest temp I've seen so far stress testing is 76 C. One nice thing about the card is it has a dual bios switch in case one ever gets corrupted. Don't know anything about the other 3rd party 580s but if you get a 590 instead it seems the reviews generally state its roughly 6 to 12 % improved performance. Also in general I like how these cards go to zero fan speed when not under load, nice and quiet.
