Which Video Card Is Better, a Nvidia GM107 GTX 745 4GB or an ATI Radeon 7660D 2GB? What kind of games would the Nividia GPU be able to run at full or near full? Also, would a 350w PSU be able to handle that card? Where the motherboard is geared toward AMD, will I even be able to use it in this computer? Thanks in advance. From the first answer I got I wanted to go into more of the Computer I have:

If you need anymore specific info let me know as I can easily look it up on Speccy. So with that info can you tell me what kind games could I run at High or Ultra. What do you think I could run games like "Quantum Break" at - currently I have to run it at low with a few things at a little bit higher. Thanks in advance everyone, I really appreciate the help.

Solution
The gtx 745 is honestly only about 50% more powerful than what you're running .
Its not worth the outlay , currently I'm looking about to see what upgrades people have done to that Asus tower you have
The Nvidia card is far better than the Radeon, no doubts. However, it's not a powerful card in itself, so you will just be able to play simple games on it, at quite low resolutions (HD or FHD tops). What games you will be able to play also depends on the other components, mainly CPU. Just try games, and lower the settings as needed. The PSU can handle the card, no problems there.

If you were to pick an video card that was close to this one in ATI Video Card that almost matches upto this one, what would that card be? Also how much better is that card to my ATI Radeon 7660D Video card in just raw computing power?

Here (in the 'Relative performance' frame): https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/825/radeon-hd-7660d-igp
You can see that taking the Radeon as base 100%, the GT 640 offers 126% the performance. Now here (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2561/geforce-gtx-745-oem) you can see that the GT 745 being the baseline 100%, the GT 640 offers 57%. So the GT 745 is 221% as powerful as the Radeon (so 2,2 times faster).

In order to buy an AMD/ATI (ATI was bought years ago by AMD, now their cards are called AMD) card today that has roughly the same power as the GT 745, it wouldn't be easy, you would have to find an AMD R7 260, that's the closest i can imagine, and it's two generations old. The current low end of the AMD stack is the RX 460, but it's about twice as fast as an old R7 260 (maybe not twice, but 1.8x)

Hi guys, I know that the GTX is a far better card but can you answer me this, will it work in my computer with my specific motherboard? This computer came pre-loaded with that video card and I want to update it. I bought ram for it once but it didn't work for some reason even though it was the same speed and everything...I'm worried that where this computer came preloaded with an AMD GPU that only AMD GPUs will work on it. Please let me know asap as I plan on getting this card tomorrow or the day after. Thanks to everyone who responded so far. To look at my computer stats see the first thing written. If you need anymore specifics let me know what and I'll check it with Speccy.

if you want to play new games or games released within the past 2 years at 1080p with high settings then i would sell the PSU and GPU and save up extra cash and put it towards say a 1050Ti or a RX460 and like a 400-500W PSU
