White flashes with Geforce2 GTS

Prelude:
I upgraded my system to:
800 Duron
Epox EP-8KTA+ (VIA KT133)
ELSA Gladiac Geforce2 GTS
and because my old ISA SB didnt work without crackling, SB LIVE! 1024 Player
Problem:
HL and Quake3A work fine, but Project I.G.I. and the helicopter part of 3DMark2000 I get strange
graphic glitches: Sporadic flashing in of a white background, thats what it
looks like. When I deactivate my SB, those glitches disappear. Im not quite
sure, but it could be that turning down hardware acceleration for the SB
does help. Disabling Vsync for D3D does the trick also.
But I hate tearlines...

I try to do a short summary what I tried up till now:
- Geforce and SB dont share a Interrupt with another or any other card
- I tried all possible AGP settings in BIOS and in VIA-drivers
- I have the newest drivers for the cards, for Geforce I tried the ELSA and
several NVIDIA
- I de-/activated the busmaster DMA feature
- I installed DX8, before I was using DX7a
and some more things I cant clearly remember right now.
I'd really
appreciate all the help you can give me. Just tell me everything you can
think of.

Is it a common driver problem? I noticed that I dont have Vsync in windows with the new system...
I tried Det6.34-6.49. Any ideas?
If someone has the same system please tell me if it works for you.

I also have an Elsa Geforce2 32MB and was getting the same problems with flashes. They were very brief.
For me the solution was downgrading to the D2 drivers. I was never able to get my system to run stable with any of the D3 drivers--lots of glitches.

My system:
A7V 900MHz T-bird
Elsa Geforce2 GTS 32MB driver v4.12.01.0206-0150
SB Live X-gamer
Via 4in1 drivers v4.25a

It's dieing dude... Like you know when ppl say they died and came back to life they saw a white light or flash... hehe. Just kidding dude. Who cares though if it's only doing it in 3DMark.... QUAKE IS ALL THAT MATTERS!!!!
