I was going to reply faster to Bomber, but it took me some time to go all the way down and find the reply button. Please don't post so much, it just pushed that button WAY down.
Nope, wasn't replying to anyone. I think I'll make mention should I post in reply to someone (bar the fact that I seldom have something intellectual to say)...
I think the "in response to" would be a nice customization to add to the system when tagging a posts "reply" button, but if you really wanted to you can just say "Mugz, you are a douchebag" or "Bomber, you would give douchebags a bad name" rather than just getting lazy and not putting down who you are replying to yourself... 😉
Edit might be handy, spellcheck, titleblock on replies, smaller ID boxes for registered posters (so you do not have large boxes for a 2 line response), word wrap rather than fixed width....
I just followed the restrictions that were posted on there. You say the new ones can be 200x120 (or something similar).
I always liked the "letterbox" screenshot better than the box/avatar....
Anyway, I was kind of referring to the box height. If there is a way to make it less tall, it would make "LOL" responses take up much less room on the browser....
Well on day 2 of using it, I definitely don't like the new format. It reminds me of an apple computer that threw up...but without any benefits. Any reason for the change? The last forum change took a little time to get used to, but even from the beginning seemed like a decent idea. I'm realllly not seeing any good things in this change, while seeing a whole bunch of negatives. Is it too late to go back? :-D
The whole thing violates the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" principle. The learning curve is too much work for this old f*rt. I'm done with this forum. Time to find greener pastures. "Gonna lay me down in the tall grass and let me do my stuff..."
