This is no compromise build with all high quality components.

I included a better quality SSD.

First you won't be needing that 750W PSU for this build. I included better 550W PSU.

I also replaced the case with Corsair 200R which is better built in quality and is lot easy to work in.

I replaced the CPU cooler with a better one. The one you listed is nearly as noisy as the stock and the only reason for replacing the stock cooler is to get bit silent build. I think stock cooler is good and maintains temps way below 80C around 65-70C(depending on where you live) besides the fact of it being little bit noisy when under load(usually gaming) and mostly people use headphones and are fine with stock cooler.

G-Sync is not worth spending extra at your price point.

The stock cooler does not maintain reasonable temperatures on the 8700 at all, even to the point where it throttles. Per this very website: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-core-i7-8700-cpu-review,5638.html Also, do note that the previous build would actually be running you ~$1610, given that the previous list factored in not only MIRs, but also sales that won't be available at the time of purchase. G Sync isn't worth it at 1080p, but it really does come into play at higher resolutions. I myself can attest to that.

Noted. I'm hoping July 4th might give me some deals :) Also, not getting the HDD will reduce the cost somewhat (scavenging old HDD).

Thank you all, I believe I will go with last Dranzer's recommended config, unless someone sees a problem in it.
