I have a EVGA Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphic card and I have it slotted into the PCIe 4.0 x16 on a ASUS Mainboard ROG STRIX X570-I
I also try it on the Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO WIFI, when I run CPU-Z on both boards it states Graphics Interface PCI-Express 3.0 Link x8 max supported x16

Is it running only 8 and not the full 16?
If so, how to I get it running at 16 lanes?

What CPU?

your cpu is limited to 3.0 x8.

that's why you're getting it. all the "G" series are limited that way.

the good news is you are not losing any performance with that gpu. x8 is plenty of bandwidth for a 2060.
