Let us stop the fanboyism and acknowledge AMD's market strategy - the AVERAGE consumer not troubled by synthetic benchmark scores or maxing our Crysis. I see too much hate going on from both camps - let us make love not war. But in reality anyone who 'hates' AMD needs a friggin reality check. Intel will not be on top forever - anyone remember the Athlon series? People were sure AMD would lead the way forever after that.

I find it interesting that a mod would even make such a cryptic post, speaking to others in the clique, in the know, about someone. The entire post I would think is beneath a moderator - however, I have seen worse from people in a position of power. Three times he has banned me now. The latest time for 2 weeks for responding to his bullshit accusations in this thread. The real reason he bans me is because he knows I hate Nvidia and he's basically just a sad Nvidiot.

But ye basically, he makes up completely false accusations of me being you (lol?) then bans me for 2 weeks after I call him out on his garbage. Not only that, but the post I made was removed by another mod (jd or random I dunno which one) so that means MM actually looked for my post next day after it was deleted, then banned me for it.

Sure you can think they don't offer as good a product as a rival, so just go with the rival, but "Hate"?

as far as mods having a product preference, that's going to happen so get over it. it only becomes a problem if they choose to use their bias as a compass to moderate. if you make attacks on a mod because of their preference on a personal level, best of luck to you.

MM has been victimising me because of my ATI preference, and because of my outspoken attitude against Nvidia.

MM hardly ever bothered with the cpu forum but you know what his first act was? That's right, it was banning me for a post I made here after warning me in another two posts. (The larrabee thread). Feel free to look through his post history and you'll see that he is deliberately out to ban me and deliberately following my threads to see what he can ban me for.

Fair and adult? Don't make me laugh. I've had way more shots at intel yet Random hasn't banned me for that.

Jenny, I asked you to stop insulting other forum members and you chose to ignore me and carry on in the belief that the ToS does not apply to you, your post above is a prime case in point. I don't have a problem enforcing the ToS when someone blatantly ignores them, if you have an issue with that then you are more than welcome to take it up with the THGF Admin.

Random deleted my post, which yes was abrasive but then again if you had been accused of being some other poster when you in fact hadn't been near the forum in days (serving a ban, remember?) you'd be pissed as well.

I think de escalation would be a sign of maturity. Jenny youre a smart girl even elmo thinks youre a formidable person to argue with, right or wrong. One great rule of thumb in forums is that when it gets nasty you should just tune it all out. especially here where the world is waiting to argue to the point of madness.

I don't really believe there are many genuine AMD haters around here in spite of appearances. I that most of it is done to get a rise out of the perceived holders of intolerance of anything not AMD/ATI. Unfortunately it turns from well intended fun to personal attacks. Once they know they can get under your skin, you are had until you change how you react. It is playground warfare 101.
