I think this forum has changed from 'Why are local computer stores full of idiot employees!?!' to 'Don't you wish we could rid the world of all stupid people'.

i have taken some of those (iq) test before.
and usually score around 140.

That sounds about right. 120-140 brags about being smart. Brilliant people know better, and stupid people are ashamed.

i have taken some online before.

but the one in highschool got me a score of 136 or 138 cant really remember. its the one that was a real one i guess.
as it had some crazy questions.

we were given 2 hours to complete it.
i took almost the full 2 hours.

and im not what you would call smart.

I guess it depends on your definition of 'smart'.

stupid people are just that, stupid.
retarded people well that isnt their fault.
ignorant people are smart in one thing (me im an autotech)
but ingorant in medicine.

i.e. i can fix just about anything on your car.

but dont ask me to do brain surgurey

Why are local computer stores full of idiot employees!?!
Because most of the customers are idiots. They can easily understand each other.

   the old takes one to sell to one theory  In that hallowed space with the polished floors and racks of overpriced goodies ,the technological morons can gather and feel welcome and accepted as equals;from the sales man to the purchaser to the owner of said chain of stores.

these are the people to thank for buying prescotts ;and keeping amd alive in dark times.

True to that on the last line. They do server their purpose. It's like those people that buy graphics cards for someone in March for Christmas. I really don't know what people are thinking when they spend that much money and they know nothing.

what a friggen cop out  if you ca do a wiring harness on an 18 wheeler, brain surgery is a snap.

LOL yeah there are over 30 different auto manufactures.
all with different wiring sys.

there is only one type of human.

alldata is a program used for wiring schematics and other torque
fastening specs and such.

it takes up over 100gig,s on a hdd. 8O

I don't remember how I wound up with my prescott. I wanted an A64. Thankfully, I must have lucked out, because even when I overclock it, on stock cooling, the highest temp I ever see is about 44 C

and im not what you would call smart.

Smart/smarter people usually tell people that they are not smart, but dumb/stupid try to convince everybody/boast that they are way smarter than most around them....

i have never claimed i was smart or dumb, but i am smart in somethings
and dumb in others.

as far as an iq test. i have taken them and yes i scored around 140.

now if only i could overclock my brain.
maybe i could hit 150

Yes, you need to use your brain to do brainy (I'm blanking on something more descriptive) things, because the stupid people couldn't if they tried. Ok, I'll be nice. Maybe they could

i tend to round things off to the next highest number .
as here in america they round what you owe or have to pay
to the same.

except for when you get paid.

i mean look at the price of gas 1.99.9$ per gallon.

i never heard of a 1/10th of a penny. 8O

Overclocking your brain too much would probably hurt a lot. (Increasing voltage?)

Stupid man with idea stolen from someone smart says "my brain's using 1400 kw. Shouldn't I be dead?"

i would oc to 220 and always wear a wet towel on my head

Just don't stand out in the desert for too long, or you might just overheat.
Imagine one of those cartoons where fire is shooting out of the poor guys ear.

Don't get me started..... here in the UK we have a store chain named PC World, and they seriously dont have a clue. One of my friends wanted a job there, and he got turned down (despite studying Computer Science at uni) because they told him we arn't interested in that, what sales experience do you have? Turns out they're now sending their staff on training courses to swat up on the techy stuff.....

We've got CompUSA here in the U.S., duh!!!
It's where all the computer wannabe, refrigeration ex-sales people, etc., ID10T's converge & work at in masses.

I've been working on & putting systems together for a little over 15 yrs & I got so pissed off at the idiot support there, (not just in one of their stores, but in several of them), that I tried applying to one of them for a part time or something a few yrs back. I was turned down 8O . They said I was over qualified, my MCSE certification & my A+ must've scared the manager's off. Smack me silly, but I thought that this was what a "COMPUTER SHOP" would've needed to bring quality floor knowledge to the sales staff or something.... 8O :?
