Why are the RAM Sticks Prices Going Up?

I haven't look at my pcpartpicker list in months, when I went back to it today. I saw the ram sticks were $70 today that I chose long ago for only $40. What's up with the ram stick prices?

I read that some where it will be around second half of 2017 before inventory will go back up.

There has been shortage and lack of supplies on Samsung and Hynix RAM.SSD's factories . It is said that prices will be fixed up in the 2nd half of 2k17 tho !! We MUST wait
