why "authenication fail" appears on my ipad when the device is plugged in?

"Authentication Failed" when you are trying to do what? Are you trying to log-in to a web site such as YouTube or something else?
If it is YouTube related you could try this "Log in with your desktop/laptop browser to your Google account, next go to Youtube and click "upload video". There you will be asked for a username (if your google account has a dot or hi-fen in it), once this step has been completed you can sign in using your application specific password."
