Question Why can't I change my monitors resolution or refresh rate?

I have the AOC C24G monitor.

Whenever I try to change my res in the nvidia control panel it always instantly defaults back to the default res which is 1080p@60hz.
I have already tried switching cables to no succes and have also tried DDU. Again, to no succes. I can't find the problem and I am absolutely losing my mind.

Huh, no idea. Maybe try changing resolution/refresh rate in Windows display adapter properties, rather than Nvidia control panel?
