Why cant i find my canon pixma mp240 scanner on my computer

i know my canon pixma mp 240 scanner printer copier is connected cause the printer and copier work fine but when i try to scan something to my computr nothing happens 🙁 the light just goes around and around please help me ive tried to down load installers but no help what can i do ????

I fixed the exact same problem moments ago. You need to install MP Navigator EX. (It came with the printer.) It can also be found on Canon's website.

Dear Jmamos I have tried installing the MP Navigator EX but still the same problem exists

the error code is 2,155,0

Are you using wireless?

Some of the Canon's do not scan via wireless.

Check the printer specifications.
