Why did Nvidia skip the 800 series name?

Did I miss something? They went 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, right?

I guess that series was meant for the 22nm parts that never came out due to TSMC failing to bring out a working manufacturing process. So they had to redesign it for 28nm process, if it already was internally named 800 series they needed a new name so 900 series was what came out.

Same with the 300 series, they're both OEM only parts. 300 was rebadged 200 series, and 800 series is mobile only, rebranded 700 series.
