why do amd cards get so much hate?

I'm planning on buying myself an rx570 because I have a pretty big case, it's cheaper than the 1050ti and performs overall 2x better.

Here's my current build (everything except cpu, ram, mobo, win 10 and monitor is slightly different to what I have but they are similar to what I have.)

I don't see a lot of hate for AMD here. I own a few of both. 3 RX580's and an EVGA 1080 ASUS 1070 Strix.

i never did like AMD's graphics drivers when i had my old HD7770. i couldn't wait to get rid of it when i had the chance

Man i swear, i had before an asus radeon hd 7790 2gb, and it gave me bluescreens randomly, around 5-10 times a day, for 4 years straight. I don't know how i managed not to crack. I'm surprised the PC didn't catch fire. Once i got rid of that card and got an nvidia one, everything was fixed. Since then, i don't want to hear from any AMD product, let it be gpu or cpu.

It's just when I mentioned the words AMD gpu all my friends say its utter trash and the rx570 is worse than the 1050 ti purley because its amd. I also see a decent amount of hate towards it in the internet. I pretty much just wanted to know if the amd gpus are genualy bad or have something wrong with them or if its just people fanboying over nividia

If they cant provide any reliable evidence on the case, dont bring it up around them anymore.
Its fairly apparent that they dont know what they are talking about if they claim its worse than a 1050Ti.

Unfortunately, your friends aren't very knowledgeable when it comes to PC's. Keep them as friends but get PC advice from people that actually know the facts.
