You can open up the case to verify whether it has a wireless adapter, or not. If so, and you want one, then yes, you'll have to buy one.

The previous link should allow you to get the manuals for your system. This will help to identify what is actually installed, and help with disassembly/assembly.

Careful with the "f bombs". If you really want rid of the system, you should be able to sell and get a few bars of silver (whatever your currency denomination is) for it and you can put towards a new rig. Installing the Realtek driver for the wired Ethernet adapter will allow you to get on-line, by the way if you can physically connect to your router.
