why does my comp remember names?

when I double click to add my name a whole list comes up! How do I get my
comp to not store all these names or remember them,Fraustrated about
this.running xp home ed.is this some sort of form filler that remembers names
you have looked up?and how do I disable it?

I assume you are referring to IE.

Where are you double-clicking? What application, what are you storing?

And just in case you're talking about MSN or other things clear out your
Passport info:

Start
Press Run
Type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes
Hit Enter
Click the second tab over
Highlight and delete any accounts you don't want
