Question Why does my CPU have unusually high temperature

Out of the blue my CPU is now reaching just over 100c on idle! - no apps playing in the background. Other times it is on 70c, again with no apps. My PC then, I am guessing because of the high temps, shuts off abruptly. My whole PC is only 10 months old too which makes me a little more worried too. My specs as below. Any ideas/suggestions?

Cooler is the Deepcool LS720.

You should touch both tubes for the AIO and see if one is cold while the other is hot to the touch. If so, then it's possible the pump has failed or there's cavitation/an airlock in the AIO. Speaking of airlocks, how is the AIO mounted in your case? Did you install the AIO and make sure the mount is flush with the CPU's (Integrated Heat Spreader)IHS? Make and model of your case?

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

1- I touched both tubes (temps at 70c currently) and neither are hot. Just mildly cold.
2- I did not install the AIO, it was installed by an engineer. They were quite knowledgeable - I would hope they mounted it properly... Below is a pic of what I can show (not much)
3- Fractal Focus 2 - pic below
4- Pic below of BIOS

Just now, having checked again, temp is now at 40-45c.....?????

Wow, bios shows all fans 16448 RPM, this is strange, something is going to be wrong here. Open the case, see if any cable to the pump or fan is damaged. Check if any connector has fallen out. Let me know if the pump connector is connected to MB "PUMP 1" and the radiator fan connector to "CPU 1".

Edit: and all temps 64°C...
