why does my cpu use so much memory?

My cpu use almost like 100% when i use FL studio, even mozilla and chrome. the whole computer slows down, it is really confusing me. I have 8gb ram. i thought my computer could handle stuff like this . What can i do to stop this?

What is your CPU speed again? If it's 25Ghz then you have broken a world record.
